Romans 8:14-15
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Many of us are in bondage because of the spirit of religion peddled by fear. Him, who came to free us, Jesus Christ, did not come to restore another religion but a Kingdom.
So, if it’s about a Kingdom, we seek the kingdom of God, and its righteousness. Not Religion and its rituals.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
For this piece, let me give you the differences.
Citizenship vs. Rituals
Religion is about rituals, that is being a stickler to the laws and doctrines to achieve right standing with God. The Kingdom of God is about citizenship, rights, and privileges. The kingdom of God is about discovering of what was lost and not to lose it again! Knowing your rights and citizenship automatically puts you in right standing with God. I mean knowing that we are co-heirs of the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ (Accept/receive Him as our Lord and Savior and what He did on the cross and maintain that victory settles it all)
Adam and Eve lost the Kingdom given to them, not religion.
They forfeited their rights to Satan and Christ came only to restore that
When Jesus was describing His purpose in Luke 19:10 (NK JV), he chose words filled with great wealth and victory for our lives. He said: “For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.”
Freedom vs. bondage
Religion brings bondage through instilling fear like if you don’t do this you will be cursed, but the Kingdom of God is about you dominating ,though ,not people but systems.It’s about you being free from doctrines, myth and diabolic cultures. It’s about freedom!!!
Outwards vs. Inwards
Religion uses the system to dominate people by controlling their minds and belief system.
This is achieved through propaganda, conspiracy theories and lies. The Kingdom tells you to dominate systems, It trains you how to think. It opens mindsets by using parables. These parables encourage people to ask questions, thereby liberating them. In other words, religion empowers outward systems to control people whereas the Kingdom of God empowers people from inward man to subdue the outward systems and cultures!
Here is an example of how and when Jesus shows us this principle.
Mark 2:27
And He said to them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
This scripture below shows that the Kingdom is from within;
Luke 17:20-21
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Hopefully, this was a teaser for you to search more about the Kingdom of God.Don’t go back into bondage again.

He constantly leads us into all truth and that truth will set us free.
Sometimes we resist the truth because it sounds too good to be true.

Amen, brother! Grace is the door out of religion. religion is basically law, regardless of the laws of God, or the laws of man.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
The Spirit gives us freedom from everything that binds us, and because he is here there is freedom. When we recognize that the Holy Spirit lives in us, we can live by his teaching (1 John 2:27).

💪💪💪Yes I know you can go on but that contribution is so much loaded.
That scripture about the Liberty brought by the HolySpirit is very true.
I discovered that some of these lies are deep rooted in well established churches or religious institutions so without the help of the HolySpirit we keep postponing the issues ro our children untill a chosen generation and a peculiar people appears.
I always see myself as that part of a generation that will leave some significant prints in the Kingdom.
May these seeds we are sowing grow to a great harvest and set a great platform for a revival.

Religion is a very wicked thing in that it gives people a false sense of salvation they are not really saved neither are they in the world that is why the Lord strongly rebuked the Pharisees because of the severe danger that religion poses especially to the simple.

Yes my friend.
We need help there is so much Propaganda.
You know the working definition for propaganda is that extremely dangerous information which is comprised of half truth and half lies but the lies acts as poison which is to little to be detected but enough to kill.So it’s not easy to deal with these stronghold without the help of the HolySpirit.
Some of them have been there for decades if not centuries so the principalities involved will not let god easily.

I love this article Evidence. Especially love the section about ‘Citizenship vs. Rituals.’ Religion has sent many people to hell and has kept many people from surrendering their lives to God. I love Paul’s stories and writings in freedom. Imagine that her persecuted the church through religion. Jesus was our ultimate example and he broke every religious rule. Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed. Religion had kept many of us in bondage and it becomes very difficult to fully surrender our lives to Jesus Christ. You have said, mouthful mate.

John 16:13 says But, when the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth…
This is showing us the way to safety. You quoted Romans 8:14-15 but let’s go back to verse 9. It Romans 8:9 says But, you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the Life of the Spirit, if the Holy Spirit of God really dwells in within you, directs and controls you. But if anyone does not possess the Holy Spirit, He is not a child of God. (Amp)
John 14:21 says He will come and make His home within us if we keep His commandments.
We can say all day long that we are the Sons of God, but we must obey His commandments. We cannot just think our way into it. Adam and Eve were disobedient. If we do not keep His commandments are not, we the same as them?
If we do not pick up our cross daily and give the Holy Spirit control of our lives, we will not make it. Self has to give up control and get off of the throne of our heart. We do have rules. Without rules there is lawlessness.
We cannot claim citizenship, rights, and privileges without obeying the Word of God and that includes all of Romans 8.
I am interested in what propaganda you are speaking.
I have peace knowing I do not call the shots in my life. I trust the Holy Spirit to protect me and lead me to safety every day. But I must follow Him and not lead. My thinking must be renewed. He will keep His end if I keep my end of the covenant. That is the truth and I know you agree!

I love Romans 8, the whole chapter.
What I call propaganda how some teachers twist scripture to a drive a selfish agenda.
Some do that for personal gain making the gospel the means of making money, some out of lust, etc.
So propaganda is tricky because the truth mixed up with lies, it’s poison in food, good enough to kill you but little enough not to be detected!
2 Peter 3:15-17
[15]and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
[16]as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
[17]You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;
Peter mentioned something about people who were twisting Paul’s teachings.I believe today some are still doing that.
2 Peter 2:1-3
[1]But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
[2]And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
[3]By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

I thought maybe there was something in your country from your ancestors that I would not know about that was the propaganda.
In the last days we must deal with the False Prophet that rises up like the Beast. The 1st Horse in Rev. 6 is also deception. So, we have a lot of false doctrine lurking around.
We have to know we are no match for these evil powers that are rising up. That is why we need the Holy Spirit on the throne of our hearts more than ever. But then we can be at rest knowing we are safely in His hands leading us always in His way of truth.
It is all about faith in His goodness and love! He will see us through. 🕊🕊🕊🕊

I read all of 2 Peter 2 and 3, that is where my Post was last night. I love Chapter 3. I found so many scriptures that went along with Romans 8:4,5,13. Also 2 Peter 3:3. I would not have read those if you had not posted them. Thank you so much. I know I will use them in the future.

They are for those desiring mature food for the times prophesied by old prophets and those apostles.
It’s time now to receivethe engrafted word which is able to save our souls from times of tribulations we are in these days .Its amazing that most untaught and unstable teachers twist Paul’s teachings to their own destruction.

Yes, I agree. I especially 10-14. It tells us that the earth will burned up. The amplified even uses the word “flare” which is what we are seeing coming from the sun at this time. But the best is 14 that tells us we must be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless. Which of course is impossible on our own strength. But as we learn daily to lean upon Him, He will prepare us in every way. He will make us blameless. That is His promise if we believe. It is all about resting in His promise. Amen!

This is the truth we should bring in into our spheres of influence and our churches.
Many people are in great oppression with these traditions,cultures and systematic poverty.
