The mysterious power of seeds

God always use the principle of seed sowing from even the beginning of the world to solve many issues.God puts instructions inside seeds that when its sown the sower should get a specified harvest which cannot be corrupted. I mean, when you understand the art of sowing seeds, you will learn to let go and allow the seed to work for you because the devil has no answer to prophetic seeds . And you will continually search for opportunities to sow good seeds. The greatest seed that you can ever sow is the Word of God.

1 Peter1:23
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever

We need to search for opportunities to sow the word of God in the lives of people because it’s the one responsible for the harvest of souls into the Kingdom of Light. When we do that, It’s God who causes increase and growth, not us.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8
6I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
8Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his reward according to his own labor.

But since we are talking about spiritual seeds as spiritual currencies, we don’t need observe natural circumstances for us to sow. It’s by faith, not by sight.

Ecclesiastes 11:4
He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.

The bible talks of sowing and reaping, and we all know that we sow seeds for a harvest. So if you are not conscious that you need to sow good seeds, you will not reap.
As a wise kingdom citizen, you have to understand that a seed can be words, ideas, can be money (offering) and many other seeds that God has graciously availed to us.
In these series, I am focusing on seeds under offering that is given as a seed for a specified harvest. May I share with you the revelation that may help us to maximize on seed sowing opportunities.

1 An appropriate seed sown at a right moment brings an end to a wrong season in your life.
To back this up I will take you through the story of David and the plague that destroyed about 70000 man.

2 Samuel 24:24-25
24Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
25And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So, the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.

David offered a seed during the pandemic, and the plague was restrained. He did this as someone who was in authority and same applies to us, we might be in authority positions/offices or as the priests of our homes and there is deficit going on regarding resources in our families or those under our stewardship like children we can sow prophetic seeds to break those wrong seasons, which takes us to the next point.

2A seed is attached to provision

1 Kings 17:13-16
13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’’
15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So, there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.

Not every widow in Zerapath got this kind of miracle, but this particular one who sowed a seed of her last meal she had. Not everything you have is for consumption, some are seeds and may God help you to know which one is bread and which one is seed.

2 Corinthians 9:6-10
6But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9As it is written:
“He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”
10Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness*

Here is my opinion when you want to do something and the money you have is not enough, chances are that money might be a seed

3 A seed is also attached to counter the seeds of the enemy(devil)

Genesis 22:17, KJV: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies

Those of us with kids, it’s time so sow prophetic seeds for them because the world is now evil. You are not guaranteed if your children will remain in the ways of the Lord unless you do something for them now. If you are a believer, I am sure you might not like the idea of your children becoming homosexuals.
But that scripture is saying a seed has power inside it from God to counter or capture whatever the enemy is planning.

4Last but not least, a seed is attached to land or property

The epidemic subsided, David saw a vision at the threshing floor of Araunah. Based on this vision he erected there an altar, and later Solomon built a temple on this spot.

King David bought that land fair and square, under the instruction of God, and it was on that site the first temple was built. And then after that, the second one. And today, the Dome of the Rock stands in its place.
With hindsight, we can see God had put his prophetic mark on his spot back in Genesis 21: it was the place where God told Abraham he was to sacrifice Isaac – mount Moriah. Zion in fact means “marked”.

So, we can prophetically sow seeds towards our church building projects etc. and mark the inheritance for our children even us to become possessors of lands and properties. What I mean is we can sow seeds concerning possessing lands and properties.

There are many revelations about seeds, this was only meant to kick-start your hunger and birth pains to sow righteous seeds so that we may harvest righteousness.

    1. Oooh yes no wonder why the enemy fights a seed.
All a sudden a dime becomes a huge some so money when God asks for it to be laid as a seed.
But once you train yourself and test the fruits of obedience in form of testimonies you will not struggle that much

  3. There is much “good” to consider in this excellent message. As you made mentioned of Ecclesiastics 11:4 it caused me to rush to my Bible and read more. I surely have read this passage many times, but it spoke deep today. For I am seriously considering my work for the Lord and fearing failure. I need to realize that if I hold back because the wind is too strong (problems) and I regard the clouds (the destructive evil that waits to destroy my work) then I will never do anything productive for the LORD. For all of us who are Believers in Christ, we must keep sowing the Good Word. Thank you for this wonderful post today. It is a blessing.

    1. Thank you Mary for this feedback.
I am also dealing with the same issue, we have a building project as church and the economic environment is not really in support of those decisions but I made the decisions anyway to go all the way.
Great wealth transfers in the bible occured during times of great disasters so yes we don’t need to hold back because of problems.
The just shall live by faith.
Go ahead and obey God and see what He will do for you and your family.

      1. Reading this made me think of the time I was reading a Bible with parallel Scripture – the King James version and the Living Bible. I would read the King James and try to figure out what it meant on my own, and if I couldn’t, I would read the paraphrase. I got to Ecclesiastes 11:4 – “He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.” I thought about it and finally said, “I give up.” I looked over at the paraphrase, and it said, “If you wait for perfect conditions, you’ll never get anything done.” THAT I understood!
The concept of sowing and reaping is such a basic truth. I love that we read WHAT we sow, LATER than we sow, and MORE than we sow. Thanks for bringing all this to light.
        Blessings,
        Annie

  5. Bless you man of God. I just uploaded a post about sowing to righteousness which I will publish tomorrow and came across your post. I don’t go into sowing financially, but either way I believe that this word confirms that God is speaking expressly. We are in a season of seed time in preparation for the great harvest of souls. The end time harvest requires resources to support the work. We have to ignore the ‘righteous critics’ who are too ready to throw cold water on aspects of the gospel that don’t appeal to their palate and senses. Even within the body of Christ, the devil tries to maintain darkness. The entrance of the word gives light. Thanks for sharing the light. Stay blessed. 🙏🏾

I remember one day sharing that Moses was a great man but he got revelation about delegating some judiciary tasks to other leaders from Jethro his father-in-law who was not a firm believer in one God.

  7. We must all learn to sow seed into the Kingdom of God. I think we start out slow and work our way up to becoming the living sacrifice in John 12:24, “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just one grain. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.” He is talking about our life and dying to self.
I see many preachers in this land who hang onto the things of this world and yet have big churches and think they have much fruit. We are the seed that needs to be planted and die. We must be working our way up to death. Then we will truly live! You gave so many good references, especially about Mt. Zion. Good Stuff!

    1. I love this dimension, yes though we sow seeds but as us we are also seeds planted by God let me hasten to the word
      Psalms 1:1-3
1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

    2. I love verse through those that are planted which means we should allow to be planted for us to bear fruits worth of the Kingdom of God.
We should be like any seed die so that we can grow and produce fruit.
My question is could it that some of us refuse to be planted or die to to self so that we can bear much fruit?

      1. Yes! I love Psalm 1. I use it when talking about Rev. 9:4. They were told not to injure the herbage of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree but only to attack such human beings as do not have the seal (mark) of God on their foreheads.
Our safety in the last days is in our being green or a healthy tree. There is so much meaning there. Jer. 17 and Psalm 92 also.
You said Zion meant mark. That could be the mark of God in Rev. 9:4.
Also, may I ask, do we get to hear details of your new Church Project? Can we plant a seed there?

      2. Wow this is an amazing revelation that our safety in these days is being green .
It’s amazing that there is a restraining order by God the Judge of the Universe that do not injure those with the seal.
We should have comfort in this protective order as those marked by Him.
Thank you for this I will add this to my take home
